Shonan-Shinjuku route and mapĪlthough best known for providing a direct connection between Shinjuku and Yokohama, the entire Shonan-Shinjuku Line covers a distance of over 150 km. Passengers arriving at Omiya are able to transfer onwards to the Takasaki or Utsunomiya lines, while those arriving at Ofuna can transfer to the Tokaido Main Line or the Yokosuka Line. However, It should be noted that the Ebisu, Nishi-Oi, Shin-Kawasaki, Hodogaya, and Higashi-Totsuka stations are not served by rapid train services.
